Coming Soon to a Gallery Near You

Two artists whose work I've featured previously have gallery shows opening later in March. Both artists have distinct architectural sensibilities in their work, hence their inclusion on this blog.

On March 14, Sarah McKenzie's Transitional opens at David B. Smith Gallery in Denver:

In 2011 I featured McKenzie's second solo exhibition at Jen Bekman Gallery in SoHo, which featured paintings of construction sites.

The second exhibition is Allan Wexler's Breaking Ground, opening at Ronald Feldman Fine Arts in SoHo on March 29:

In 2009 I featured Drawing P.S. 340, a "112-foot (34-meter) wall mural [that] presents various floor plans and detailed construction drawings based on the actual architectural plans for the school."

If you're in Denver and/or New York City in the near future, be sure to check out these shows.
